03 Heavy-Duty Trucks

Heavy-duty pickups (2500/3500 class) are designed for maximum towing and payload capacity. Their heavier frames, larger axles, and bigger engines result in the lowest fuel economy in the truck segment. The EPA does not require fuel economy testing for vehicles over 8,500 lbs GVWR, but many manufacturers voluntarily report ratings.
